Catnip

A shot of Tom enjoying the hospitality of a catnip mouse.

Coming back to town.

While out in the woods visiting the sister in law and nephew, we went for a wander in their "garden". Out of interest i checked out my google map feature. It told us we were close to Opatow, Poland. Maybe it was a magical trip over the river i took, but i don't think we were off course...

£70 each?

Between Dundee and here we were treated to the ongoing drug deals of a weird looking guy in a tracksuit. Apparently he was looking for a quarter, or even a half of "g" and it would be about £70 each between the three of them. Not sure if that was if he got the half or quarter, but he seemed to think it wap worth it. Stupid idiot.

Crossing the river Tay into Dundee.

On the road again...

Well, railway actually. Crossing "the" bridge on the way to a 3 day adventure in Aberdeen.

A warning about The Happening

Please, if you ever have to choose between watching The Happening or eating hot coals. I suggest the latter. I cannot describe how awful this movie is. Bad acting and worse script ruins a good concept. I can honestly say that it is the worst waste of celluloid i have ever sat through. Worse than Hollow Man 2, worse than Ace Ventura worse than them both combined in fact. Just stay away!

Evidence of the Moonwalk.

Having longer to walk to get to work today took me past various bits of boa, feather and other decoration that marked the annual Edinburgh Moonwalk. More than 12,000 women (and some men) don pink, decorated bras to walk 26 miles around town starting at midnight. This helps raise money and awareness of breast cancer, but also helps a little to reclaim some of the places women may feel wary of walking alone at night. Good on them all, and here's to next year when hopefully Mrs. Tattoo and the mum-in-law will be joining in too.

Afterwards

Aaaaah. Good day had by all and a well deserved pint.

Setting out the stall.

Gala day in Mid-calder.
